AQUASOL - Influence of the product on humid fuels
AQUASOL's action consists in solubilizing water molecules dissolved or dispersed in the fuel. The active part of the product physically binds water with formation of an adduct, perfectly soluble in hydrocarbons, even at very low negative temperatures. The strength of water binding by AQUASOL increases as the temperature of the fuel decreases. Thanks to this, the humid fuel will not cloud.
The dose of AQUASOL depends mainly on the water content in the fuel. For gasolines, diesel fuels and light heating oils saturated with water at room temperature (clear or even slightly turbid fuel), the optimal dose is 1L of product per 1000L of fuel. Because the amount of water dissolved in hydrocarbons decreases with decreasing temperature - a smaller dose of the additive can be added to the cold fuel.
The water solubility in base gas and diesel fuel depends on temperature and is illustrated by the diagram.
The product works effectively both after adding it to the fuel and vice versa - when small amounts of water (technological) get to the anhydrous fuel with the addition of AQUASOL..
Attention! AQUASOL can not be added to the fuel, in which water forms a separate layer; this may result in emulsifying a large amount of water in the fuel and creating a cloudy emulsion.
AQUASOL protects against corrosion metal elements of fuel supply systems, tanks and pipelines.
AQUASOL has cleaning action in relation to the inlet valves and engine injection armature. Supports the washing effect of typical commercial detergent additives for gasolines and diesel fuel. It makes it easier to spray the fuel, full evaporation and combustion in the engine.
By maintaining water in the fuel AQUASOL contributes to softer engine operation, lowering the maximum temperature in the combustion chamber and reducing the emission of toxic components of exhaust gas ( NOx ).
